School visit packages

We have carefully put together collections of activities, which support and enhance children’s understanding of key National Curriculum objectives. This allows you to choose from our range, the service, which meets your needs. However, if you have a particular request, we would be only too happy to consider it. All our packages involve a visit from us, with livestock. The animals included may vary from time to time, but will consist mainly of tropical invertebrates.

If you are a teacher/ educator in a school, we recommend that you book an enhanced package, all of which are specially designed to meet National Curriculum aims. This will allow children to gain maximum benefit from the experience. Each package consists of a carefully constructed set of activities, including games, creative play, craft and/or music to reinforce primary science concepts.

All Gribblybugs package prices include all resources and materials required for activities, animal handling and talks.

In addition to the above we are able to mix and match activities either at our own discretion or at your request. Please enquire for details. Please note that although themed activities can be extended, they cannot be shortened unless specified. If you require a shorter visit or a visit suitable for more than the number of groups specified in the enhanced packages, we recommend that you consider the basic handling package.

Games and activities used in packages may vary from time to time, as may livestock available for visits. We believe that this keeps visits fresh and entertaining for you and the children in your care. If you have a specific request for an animal or activity, please enquire at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.
