We keep a range of tropical invertebrates, including spiders, giant hissing cockroaches and giant millipedes, giant African landsnails, mantids, scorpions, stick insects and leaf insects. We also keep snakes, butterflies and moths. Will you bring all the animals to our school? We will bring a range of livestock, which we feel best illustrates the key points in the package that you book and depending upon what's available for showing at the time of your booking. Can I request that you bring a specific invertebrate with you? Yes, you can, although we cannot guarantee that we will have any particular species available, we will do our best to accommodate your wishes. Can I buy livestock from you to keep in the classroom? Yes, this is sometimes possible. Contact us directly, or speak to us when we visit and we will do our best to help. You can buy butterfly rearing kits directly from us between late February and September and pre-order them at any time of year. Will you attend special events like school fetes and gala days? Yes we are able to offer talks and a range of services. Please contact us for details. The usual rates apply. Are you prepared to travel outside the Coventry/ Warwickshire area? Yes. However this is subject to booking at least a half day or full day, depending upon distance. Travel expenses at approximately 50p per mile will be added on to the usual booking rates. If it is a very long distance, we may add on the cost of accommodation and/or a second day's booking fee. If you are unsure, please contact us for a full quotation. How far will you travel without charging travel expenses? We will travel up to an approximate 40 mile radius without charging any additional fee. If you are unsure, it's best to contact us, for a full price quotation. How far in advance can I book one of your talks? We are able to take bookings more than a year in advance. Can I book my butterfly rearing kit in advance? Yes you can. Please contact us by e-mail or telephone to arrange the date that you would like them to be delivered. Can I arrange for items that I buy in your shop to be posted to another address? Yes.
