We
try to be as flexible as possible, so if you want to mix and match your
packages or have ideas of your own that you would like to see
incorporated into your visit, we will do our best to accommodate your wishes. For example, it is possible to book a basic handling session with a food chains slant.
However we
do recommend that the KS2 enhanced packages are limited to one class at a time. Although it is possible to work with a maximum of 2 classes at a time. This allows the children to get the most from our visit. Our
talks are very interactive. We believe that this way of working really
helps children to know and understand the natural spectacle of the
livestock, provides opportunities for questions to be asked and
answered and improves the general teaching and learning. If you have a number of groups that you would like to fit into one day, our basic handling session can be tailored to give lots of groups a a chance to see some of our animals, in succession.
We
are always delighted to receive letters and drawings and e-mails
following our visits and if anyone has gribbly themed questions that
they were too shy or just didn't have time to ask, during our visit,
they can ASK TIM and he'll get back to you with an answer as soon as possible.
For ideas for things to try before our visit or for follow -up work, please visit the THINGS TO DO section.
The easiest way to book is to contact us directly, either by telephone or e-mail. If you prefer, you can complete an online booking form and we will get back to you to confirm availablity and price.
Please note all orders placed are subject to acceptance of our terms and conditions.
